This is an outdoor project...gets a little messy. Each lady takes one of the plastics pots and fills it with dirt and a selection of plants that were brought ...no wrong or right way. We had Snap Dragons, Sweet William, Creeping Jenny, Asylum and Marigold to choose from, above picture shows some of our masterpieces.
Our church has small groups. Our group is a great mixture of young and not so young, marrieds and a couple of singles. The entire group meets twice a month then the men and women each meet separately once a month. Most of the time we dig deeper into Sunday's sermon, or review a chapter in a book or we may spend the evening in worship and prayer. Occasionally there might be something called "sovereignty bowl".... digging deeper type questions you pull from a bowl.
Care group, it's where relationships are formed...it's where you walk through life together, it's where you care for each other...and it can be a place to grow. It's a place to rejoice together, cry together, praise and pray together....and sometimes just have fun together.

Good morning! This sounds like a wonderful idea. How many plants then do you leave with? A small group is such a good way to share, pray, and support one another. I love them too. Have a lovely day!
Oh I love this! Thanks for sharing. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
I've got to tell you that this just really inspired me to do something like this with a few ladies! Thanks again....Cindy
That is a great idea....and yes, Care Groups...I love that name for them, because that is what we should be doing, caring for one another
A very nice idea! Care groups are so special!
We also have small groups for women (and men on alternate weeks) and I love it. I'll have to suggest this idea! Much love!
What a cool idea! Then, whenever you see the pots of posies, you think of each other. Your church has many groups...it's a good way to meet one another away from the larger Sunday morning meeting.
We have a Sunday School class that is divided into care groups and what a ministry they have in so many different ways.....
I hadn't thought about the flower swap; it's a great idea.....
I hope your Easter is blessed beyond measure...
