- We had minimal effect from the storm. It was wet and there was flooding but we sustained no damage. My family all safe and well (those locally and those up north) all have power.
- I am thankful for heat that is warming my house...it's cold outside... and electricity that is making it possible for me to wash a load of laundry this afternoon...there are many that do not have this luxury right now
- I am thankful that Sweet Lady lives close to us. The town that she lived in got a couple of feet of snow from this storm, she would have been stranded in that apartment that she lived in
- I am thankful for the gift of being able to be home...I didn't even know how much I needed this
- I am thankful for the health that I have....I may not be where "I" want to be, but I am so much better than I was.

It has been life-changing for me since I learned to stop and count all I have to be thankful for each day. I highly recommend it.
The quote here is a great one to copy into my journal.
Thankful you and yours got through the storm!
Blessings~
I intend to get started on my thankful list tomorrow. There are soo many blessings if we look. And I need to look right now as soo much is hard. I enjoyed your list!
Being thankful with you!
Why is it so easy to find things that we're not happy with, things we feel compelled to grumble about when there is so much to be thankful for. Argh!
Beautiful post Maryann! Thank you for sharing your thanks. It's always encouraging to read what others are thankful for. Keep on recording your *thankful things*!
Blessings to you!

I also have so much to be thankful for. I'm going to start journaling my thoughts. It will be interesting to see how I grow, now at the end of chemo and radiation, and how each day will hold special blessings.
Thank you for writing this as I need to pick up my own journal and write my thanks...
