Okay fellow bloggers I need your help, in my zeal to clean up my picasa account I accidentally deleted my little rose that was on my "about me gadget" I have no idea how to fix this problem. I have considered removing the gadget and redoing it and adding another photo but was unsure if this would make me unfollow the blogs I am currently following (cause this is what appears on the blogs I follow)....or does it make any difference. Any advice/help will be greatly appreciated

Be careful with your zeal. There's no need to clean up small photos at all. There is even no need to clean up anything at all as long as you are careful going forward.
The good news is that I change my profile picture all the time and it automatically updates on the Followers list. So go ahead and add a new one. All will be well.
I don't have a picture in my "about me" section, so I don't know that I can be any help with that.
I do know that I refuse to go to my web-based Picasa account because the untidiness and duplication makes me crazy. I tried tidying it up once, and unfortunately deleted pictures that had been inserted in my blog posts. Fortunately it was a couple of years ago, so it didn't take me forever to go back, find the missing pictures and reinsert them (luckily I still had the originals on my hard drive).
If you find out how to safely tidy up Picasa, I hope you share it. ;-)
