- The beauty of this fall, it seems the colors have been more vibrant and longer lasting than in years past, or perhaps I am just more aware. Such a display of the handiwork of God
- Weather so warm Sunday that we were able to take a walk in the park after church
- More "routine days" I know ALL my days were ordained by Him, today I am thankful for the "routine ones"
- That God is sovereign in all the details of my life, nothing takes him by surprise
- For the ladies in my small group, thankful for lives that have been knit together.
- For my husband who works so hard
- For my sister and for the ability to share the experience of being grandparents together (since we live in different states, I am thankful for the technology that helps make that a reality)
- For parents who are still able to live independently
- For a brother that lives close to parents and is able to check in on them
Lord help me to be more aware of my many blessings and to be thankful for all you have provided.

Lovely post of things you are thankful for.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday week. It will be here before we know it.

Hi Maryann! I really believe that thanksgiving is a way right into God's heart. Just like we melt when we are thanked, I think he does too!
You are so blessed that your parents can live independently. My dad is 88 and still living at home, and it's such a gift. I know he'd be miserable if he had to leave.
I love small groups. I would thank the Lord for mine too. We meet in the summers, but I do so enjoy the sharing and laughter. God is so good.
Have a wonderful afternoon!

LOVE your list. Yes, our modern technology which makes keeping in close contact with those loved ones in other states is truly a blessing. Don't know how I would ever bear my daughter and those babies living so far away otherwise. Enjoy your week-end!
It's a beautiful list and a wonderful way to head into this special week.
What a lovely list and oh, you are more than blessed that your parents can live independently. I've been caring for my Dad (he lives in an assisted living facility)for the past 3 years and it has definitely had challenges.
May you and yours be blessed as we celebrate with thankful hearts this Thursday.
What a precious post and I can relate to so many of the thanks. Your list makes me form one in my own thoughts, which is so good for me.
Thanks for sharing.
