Well I had all four grands at the house again yesterday. Everyone seemed to be in a pretty good mood. Maybe we could try a photo of all the kiddos again on the stairs. My oldest grand daughter and grandson thought it was a great idea. " Grandma you could hang this year picture right beside the one from last year"....(I have that one hanging in my hall)
The title of this blog comes from one of my favorite hymns."It is Well With My Soul" When peace like a river attendeth my way When sorrows like sea billows roll, Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say It is well, it is well, with my soul

Picture Perfect...Not Quite
I am always taking photos of the grands....no occasion needed. As I have mentioned in the past, getting a group shot of all four children is pretty challenging, I have not figured how to get them to look and smile for the camera at the same time. It seems near impossible...but I keep trying just the same.
You may remember the photo shoot we tried on the stairs at my house last year. Seemed like someone was either crying, spitting up, pulling hair or otherwise distracted. It was a fun memory....really it was!

My thought was, let's see what happens and then move on to another activity...nothing ventured, nothing gained. Although it didn't turn out perfect we did have fun. ( and of course during the process of taking the photos, someone was either crying, pushing, grabbing or being otherwise distracted)

I know what you're talking about...I am constantly trying to get a good group picture of my grandkid but it's almost impossible....
I think the last picture you took is pretty good; they are all happy....
Anyway, we are going to love the pictures no matter what because we love those kids so much...
Love the photos and those adorable little faces! They are all happy and that's pretty good in my opinion :)
I think you got a pretty good one! What little dolls. I have tried and tried to get ALL of my grands together in a picture, (looking, crying, unhappy or otherwise) and it STILL has just not happened..sigh...someone is always missing. Some day! haha Enjoy your day!
So cute regardless~ It is the chapters of their lives right now! I read an article recently that basically said that we need not to be worried about pictures not being perfect because in essence they are perfect! It's life! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Oh, who cares? They're so cute it just doesn't matter!
Tooooooooooooo cute...that is life, not picture perfect, but real!!! I love them!
Hi, Happy Valentine's Day! I love this post-I know exactly what you mean; we experience it when we have both sets of grands together with us-with daughters, sil's,grands and hubby and I we have 16 in all. Talk about a struggle.
Have a wonderful evening filled with love.
Hugs, Noreen
I have four grands, too. Such a precious picture. Perfection is so over-rated. Real is so much better. Adorable children!
I love this post, as we experience the same thing with our 4 grands. Your 4 cuties are all happy and I can just hear the giggles!
