July Moments

It's hard to put in words what July has been for us, these photos tell some of the story

July was about family, those close and those far away

There were moments of laughter and tears

It was about trusting God

Much grace was poured on us through it all, the Lord has been faithful in so many ways

It was the month we said good-bye  to my father-in law

This photo was taken July 2010, it represented three generations, my father-in-law, my husband and sons.

Time Out

Taking a little blog break while I navigate through some stormy waters. I can see God's hand in much of what is happening but I am still weary.

Thanks in advance for all your prayers and encouragement.

June Moments

As I was putting these photos together today I realized that photos don't always tell the whole story. June was a very busy month for us, there was lots to celebrate, birthdays, anniversary's, Father's Day, and the end of the school year, but there were also moments of sadness and grief as we said goodbye to a friend.

June has had lots of happy days but it has been challenging month as well....pictures don't really show that. My life is just like everyone else's, messy and good all mixed together. I need the encouragement of his word every day, reminder of truth everyday because I think I tend to "leak" Can you identify?

But one thing I do; forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 3:13b-14
