June Moments

As I was putting these photos together today I realized that photos don't always tell the whole story. June was a very busy month for us, there was lots to celebrate, birthdays, anniversary's, Father's Day, and the end of the school year, but there were also moments of sadness and grief as we said goodbye to a friend.

June has had lots of happy days but it has been challenging month as well....pictures don't really show that. My life is just like everyone else's, messy and good all mixed together. I need the encouragement of his word every day, reminder of truth everyday because I think I tend to "leak" Can you identify?

But one thing I do; forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 3:13b-14

Great collages and a good verse to remember too, especially when life is full of 'life', good, bad, ugly, etc.

Love and hugs to you ~ FlowerLady

Beautiful photos of a memory filled June. I think most all of us have a messy and good combination. I just pray that most of mine from here on will be more good than messy. :o))) Happy 4th of July!

Oh, yes...we take pictures of the celebrations and the beautiful things (of course!). But you're right. That doesn't tell the whole story. Life is both joy and sadness and I am so glad that He is with us in both.

Thanks for sharing your heart as you "gathered" again this month.

I can readily relate to "leaking". That's why I must be in God's Word daily to get filled up! Even in the good times. Especially in the good times, perhaps, to get me through the messy days.

Your pictures shout "SUMMERTIME IS HERE". Have a fun Fourth!

Great moments of June. And oh yes, we need His encouragement daily. Sending you a doze of God's blessings through prayer today my friend. Happy 4th! Dear Father, bless my sweet friend with your overwhelming love today. Go BEYOND her BEYOND! BLOW HER MIND with Yourself! In Your Name I pray...Amen
Hugs and blessings, Cindy

I'd be soo surprised if we couldn't all relate. Life is a DEFINITE combination of the messy and the good. We try don't we to focus on the good, but the messy does have a way of getting in there. LOVE your verse here.. LOVE IT!! Wishing you a happy 4th of July.

Loved your pictures btw!

What a great way of putting it! Yes, just like a balloon, we do leak and need more of Him every day. Some days, I leak more than others. I am sorry for the loss of your friend and happy for your joys as so evident in your collages.
