Perfect Peace

This is a scripture that spoke to me tonight. It's a reminder to me to stop looking at my circumstances, my problems or the world's problems in general and focus on the Lord instead and what his word says. It's a promise that says there is peace available to me, and not just any peace but perfect peace. Maybe you need this reminder tonight too.

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock   Isaiah 26:4

Yes I do...thanks so much for sharing,...perfect peace that only He can give when I lift up my eyes to the provider!

Great minds. I was thinking these same thoughts. We lose our sense of peace and security when we take our eyes of Him. Good reminder of where our focus needs to be, always.

What a gorgeous picture to illustrate this Scripture....It's so interesting I was just saying the same thing to my son this past week....Advise I have to give myself often....

It really is the only way to live a victorious life. In Him, in His presence, we find all we need.

I've been scrolling back through thoughts, and grands, and baking together, and snow, and hearty soups... What wonderful scriptures you share...the ones that get to the essence of what we need in a hurry. We need Him. He Himself is Perfect Peace. And isn't it wonderful that as we yield to Him, He meets us where we are? I have found this to be true over and over again. Keep looking up! Thank you for visiting today or I'd not have found you again. I lose so many sweet bloggers whom I really have every hope of keeping up with. Sigh. Nudge me again, won't you?

This is one of the many verses I was thinking about over the past week, (as you can imagine.) It is true, but hard to do, sometimes. What a lovely lovely landscape you chose to go with the verse - it brings me peace, just looking at it.

Beautiful photo to go with such a wonderful verse Maryann! These verses (3-4) were my *theme* verses during our trying times with Austin's health. The LORD is so Good...isn't HE? :)

Love to you!
