Around Town

I know that this may not look like much to some folks, but it made me pretty excited. Can you guess what's got me smiling?

I had to actually stop and take photos of these stacks of plastic Adirondack chairs...I loved all the colors but more importantly, all these newly delivered items are  a sure sign that spring is right around the corner.

We still have piles of this stuff in most all of the parking lots around town. I used to think they were piles of snow but my DIL told me this stuff is called "SNIRT".

SNOW+DIRT=SNIRT...so now you know. Hopefully this will all be gone by the weekend. Are you seeing any signs of spring around where you live?

We just stood out on our back porch and listened to the spring peepers for the first time this year. It was music to our ears!! :)

Big snow storm last week but lots of rain and warmer temps have melted most of it. I saw a pretty forsythia wreath on a neighbors front door that made me excited.

On the way home from DD's tonight, I saw a small pile of snow - I think that is what little is left here. It got up into the 70s today ... spring surely is coming!

I'd be excited too seeing wheelbarrows and Adirondack chairs if I lived up north. Our weather down here in s.e. FL was very warm yesterday, in the mid 80's.

Never heard of "snirt" before, lol. Good description. Yep, looks like Spring is on the way for you...been here for a while. Everything is in bloom. We are supposed to hit the low to mid 90's this week-end! Not very happy about that to tell you the truth. We might just skip spring and slide right on into summer...sigh. Enjoy your week-end!

Love all the stacked chairs! Well, it is muggy and rainy in my neck of the woods. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Snirt...yes, that describes it well. We didn't get any real snow this winter....the blossoming cherry trees are in full bloom. I was wearing shorts for my walk with my girl today. I'm sending some warmth and blossoms to you!! It all looks very promising by your photos. Hugs, Camille

Snirt, that's the best!!! Our Dogwoods have buds and the Daffodils are showing their heads. Surely, Spring is one the way. If we could just get sunshine to dry out our saturated ground. Happy weekend!
