Fallen Snow

There seems to be a peace when you go outside after a freshly fallen snow, the air is crisp and quiet. I enjoy the novelty of snow and the photo opportunities it gives me, but mostly I enjoy it from the window of my nice warm house.

We don't get snow often here, and when we do it tends to shut the city down. We don't own a snow shovel and the children in the neighborhood use cardboard boxes and trash can lids for sleds, and boots....well they may be grocery bags taped around the ankles. This is the south after all.

These photos were taken the winter of 2011, hope you enjoy

We don't get much snow here either. :-( I LOVE snow ... for so many reasons, including those you listed. I'm praying for a snowy winter here. ;-)

Good morning! Soo pretty! Being a So. California gal we only see snow in the mountains. I honestly can't imagine snow around here, but I would LOVE to. At least for a few days over Christmas, haha. Enjoy your snowy day!

You know what I think? The South wears winter white very well! Guess that without a snow shovel, I won't wish you too much of the stuff. Lovely photos all...

(Your link is fixed by the way, so I hope that lots of gals will find you!)

Your winter photos are beautiful. We don't get snow where I live, so I enjoy seeing photos like these. Wonderful selections for Vee's party.

This is the beauty of winter when the snow has settled on gates, fences and branches.
I couldn't pick a favourite from your note cards, I love them all.

What is it about snow that makes children of all of us?!! We had a bit of it last week, too. I would love for there to be more.

Merry Christmas & God's blessings,
Kathleen
