Urged to Pray

We choose not to watch any election coverage last night...we were in overload.  Instead I skimmed through FB and saw this scripture posted. I think it's perfect to share this morning

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers and intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness           1 Timothy 2:1-2

I love that scripture - so appropriate this morning.

Our God is still in control, and my trust is in Him, not in any elected official.

Amen! Couldn't agree more, in fact used this same scripture in my post. You know what they say about "like" minds. : ) Have a wonderful day!

I saw this too and shared it with my husband this morning during our devotionals.
I needed to be reminded-thanks for sharing it with others.

We fasted and prayed for the outcome of the election. Now we pray for the Lord's leading of the one allowed the position. Always we remember who is really at the helm!

Blessings, Debbie
